Commutation 2013 SP1 | Another HTTP 500.0.0 Error
Help!
We are in the heart of migrating from Exchange 2010 SP3 to Exchange 2013 SP1 and we are existence plagued with HTTP 500 errors on every Commutation 2013 server now.
I accept two Customer Access servers installed (EXCHFE01 & EXCHFE02) and one backend mailbox server (EXCHMB03) with the Client Access role also installed (for troubleshooting purposes). In one case I get everything working I'll install two backend 2013 servers with the mailbox role but for production (load-balanced, amassed, etc). I all the same have two Exchange 2010 mailbox servers left since one has a single big mailbox left on it and the other hosts public folders. I'll go to migrating those later. All Exchange 2013 servers are running Windows Server 2012. All are on the aforementioned LAN and no firewalls are between them.
On all three 2013 servers (EXCHFE01, EXCHFE02, EXCHMB03) I'm getting the dreaded HTTP 500 fault whether I try to get to OWA or ECP. This did work at one signal where I could at least login to the mailbox server (EXCHMB03) and migrate all my mailboxes over to it. Quondam this morning later on the ii Client Access servers were installed the mailbox server stopped working (HTTP 500 errors). This is very frustrating because I can't even login to a console to manage Exchange from whatsoever server at this point.
Both Client Access servers aren't really showing anything of value in the event logs or the IIS logs. The mailbox server (EXCHMB03) does testify the following result 3002:

...and I get the post-obit when I run the Commutation Management Crush tool on the same mailbox server (along with lots of other red HTML text):
More Information: This error means that there was a trouble while processing the asking. The request was received by the Web server, but during processing a fatal mistake occurred, causing the 500 error.
The Client Admission servers show the post-obit errors:

I've tried all sorts of recommended fixes just none take worked and then far:
- ADSIEdit and remove msExchCanaryData0 information
- Reinstall Exchange multiple times
- Rebooted multiple times

Substitution 2013 - Quota notifications trouble
Hello,
First of all I want to express mild disappointment with the manner quota notification alerts are documented on Technet for Substitution 2013. The only reference I could find is that QuotaNotificationSchedule parameter of the Fix-MailboxDatabase cmdlet no longer does anything: "This parameter has been deprecated in Exchange 2013 and it no longer does annihilation.".
The only other reference I could find is this forum mail service:

My feel says that the forum post is correct.
Now onto the problem.
While our customer was withal on Exchange 2010 they were the victims of this issue:

At present nosotros accept migrated those mailboxes to Exchange 2013 and again, users are non receiving quota notification e-mails. Only a few users receive quota notifications e-mails and those are users that got their mailbox created on the new Exchange 2013 system. Migrated users do not receive notifications. We have tried CheckWarningQuota on Exchange 2013 but it does nil. Our theory is that mailbox flag introduced in Exchange 2010 SP1 is migrated with the mailboxes to Exchange 2013 and is the reason why we are not receiving quota notifications over again.
I appreciate thoughts and comments.

Demand help regarding the location of Exchange 2013 Logs for parsing
Hi, I am trying to create reports based on the logs that are created on my exchange server. I am usingexchange 2013. My problem is that I cannot handle every log, and instead desire specific types of logs.
I need help finding the specific locations of the following types of logs (If they fifty-fifty exist), so that I tin parse them and utilise them effectively:
- Inspect Logs (Mailbox logons, Mailbox permission changes, Mailbox property changes, Exchange store changes)
- Postal service Report Logs (Mailbox size and growth, Mailbox storage growth, Enabled users, Expired and Shortly-to-Expire Mailboxes)
- Exchange Traffic Reports (Details on size and corporeality of messages sent and recieved, Cyberspace traffic [to and from], Traffic betwixt exchange users)
I sympathize this might audio like a huge undertaking, but any aid that can exist provided would be appreciated.
Again, I demand data on the locations of these types of logs on the commutation server, and so that I tin parse them. Collecting them all and searching through them is non practical for my bachelor resources.

Room Finder is not working - neither Online nor Cached Fashion
Hello everyone,
since the migration to exchange we take problems with the room finder.
Infrastructure is 2 Exchange 2013 SP1 in a DAG. DNS Round-Robin.
We created a room lists (distribution list not security) for each branch role that has meeting rooms.
Each room list has at least 3 coming together rooms.
Room finder does not select between the list and shows "none". This happens in Cached manner or Online mode. When we work with OWA (which we usally deactivate) you tin select the listing and so the gratuitous rooms.
Free Busy is working. When i utilise the scheduling assistant and add all rooms i can see the the infomations for all rooms.
Can anyone assist with troubleshooting ?

Cannot delete Public Folder that is flagged equally Hold for Migration
I am attempting to remove a public folder mailbox per this KB commodity

Soon there is ane Public Binder mailbox that is held for migration. I decided not to migrate any public folders over considering we want to structure it differently. So I demand to remove the mailbox presently there flagged as held. This is a secondary hierarchy mailbox. In that location is no primary.
When I run
Get-Mailbox -PublicFolder | where {$_.IsRootPublicFolderMailbox -eq $False} | Remove-Mailbox –PublicFolder
I receive
Public binder replication has been delayed. Please await until replication is complete before you remove this public folder mailbox. Replication could take upwardly to an 60 minutes. If yous remove the mailbox earlier replication is complete, your public folder deployment could be in an inconsistent land.
I have been unable to find a workaround for this.
Any thoughts?

RBAC to create mailbox
Hi all,
I want to create new role grouping (RG) for my Branch Ambassador so they can create user + mailbox only they must not modify the policy quota size.
I already create the RG in my production server and so I assigned Mail Recipientsand Mail Recipient Creation, only somehow when create mailbox it said access denied. Merely I can create user from ADUC and enable mailbox (apply existing user) from ECP.
I'grand using Exchange 2013 SP1. I try on my lab, information technology works, what could probably wrong in my product server ?

I am unable to assign Send As permissions in Exchange Admin Middle or through the Exchange Management Vanquish. Both produce the same mistake bulletin: Active Directory operation failed on server.domain.Local. This error is non retriable. Additional information: Access is denied. Agile directory response: 00000005: SecErr: DSID-031521E1, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), information 0
I constitute other posts most the same issue and a resolution of adding the permissions through ADUC which worked simply if the option is in the EAC, shouldn't it work there? This seems like a bug?

I take newly installed Substitution 2013 server and I saw this Events logs full with this warning.
ping of mdb 'f0583cf2-caea-4644-8c98-0a466ce1cded' timed out after '00:00:00' minutes . Last successful ping was at '1/30/2013 11:53:27 AM' UTC .

We added some user accounts to the 'Recipient Management' grouping and noticed that these accounts are not able to connect mailboxes by using the ECP in Exchange 2013. The dialog box that pops up just stays white.
Which RBAC direction role is needed to use the Connect-Mailbox cmdlet?

I am about to setup a pilot and wanted to ask a few questions.
I am planning a multi-domain exchange deployment...where I am hosting my main email on site with a domain of company.com and I want to host 1.company.com and two.visitor.com on my office 365 Commutation online implementation. To do this do I have to define the new domains on my current exchange server and and so setup the users on role 365?
one of the things that my user base wants is unmarried sign on only they won't be using rich clients. I know this works well for rich clients, simply can single sign on also sign on to Office 365 spider web and 1 drive?
I will be implementing ADFS and DIrSync for AD replication and ADFS for unmarried sign on.
How does licensing work? if my entire directory replicates to Office 365 and I only want some users over in that location activated, how do those I want activated. Can I hands activated a bunch of users for but some services at i fourth dimension? If I deactivate or delete an account locally, volition those changes take at office 365? How does that work with licensing? practice my licenses get automatically freed upwardly?

Configuring Exchange 2013 resource so that Outlook 2013 clients tin can only request to schedule a meeting

We take a regular stop user - not an substitution admin or anything fancy. They are not a delegate of the room in outlook. They don't have send on behalf or full access in ECP for the room. However for some reason the room accepts meetings this person schedules while people with Outlook 2007 don't seem to have the same level of access. We would like to make information technology then their but option is to asking to schedule a coming together in that room - not really create a coming together in that room.

In a maintance window I dismounted the database, checked the database clean status and and then deleted, not copied or movied, the folder content.
So I noticied there was not file inside the folder, even the EDB file....yep, very dumb.
I went to Recycle Bin and verified the logs were there except the EDB file, that had 115 GB.
My question is:
- the Windows server 2012 Recycle Bin doesn´t store that size and so my EDB file was deleted for ever?
- if the answer is yes, can I use any recovery deleted file software to rescue the EDB?
